This distinctive site provides artists and art enthusiasts with countless new features and tools to help enhance their creative abilities and connections. RAWartists.org doubles as a social networking site that allows hand-selected artists to be interactive with others in the industry. More exciting features include the ability to shop online from local artists’ collections and the capability to view videos and listen to mp3s that RAW artists have created. “We have taken the best practices of offline art showcases to create an online community that brings exposure to our artists, sponsors, visitors and RAW enthusiasts. We are very excited and we feel all our hard work and time has paid off,” said RAW’s Marketing Director Matthew Klahorst. RAW is proud to announce the introduction of seven industry professionals/ artists themselves that will be collaborating with RAW to add expertise and even more creativity to the site. These directors in their various relevant fields will being providing RAWartists.org with up-to-date industry secrets and trends to keep the web audience informed on what is new and fresh in Southern California. RAWartists.org is a mirror image of the creativity and hard work that founder Heidi Luerra and her team strive towards to set RAW aside from its competitors and place it in a category of their own in Southern California. Brief Update About Updating

No real or important news to report, however, after a lengthy absence, Wiggy VonSchtick is re-establishing it's web presence. The YouTube channel will be updated over the next week with all the important videos (link to come when the content is up) and, although WiggyVonSchtick.com still points to our MySpace page, that will be changing. We are currently working with Fear the Geek on a new page that we're really excited about. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter, even though we have been rather lax in our posting, especially as we get closer to production.

Update - 7k "My Highlife"

Wiggy was a part of the video shoot for 7k's new song "My Highlife" this summer, but at the time we didn't have a blog to be able to post it. For this week's update we have posted the video and a link to 7k's website.

This was a fun shoot to do. The video was made in partnership with Wazza, Inc., 7k and Cement Records. Look for 7k near you during their fall tour!

Update - It's been over a month!

I know, I know, we've taken a whole month to post anything. We are currently dealing with the things you have to deal with when getting financing finalized on a film.

In the mean time we thought you should know about the new Wiggy Twitter Account!

Come follow us, check it out! There won't be a tremendous amount of traffic on it until production begins, but we are posting things a bit as we go like new blog posts and up to the minute updates on all Wiggy projects!

Locations, Locations!

I don't mean to put a month between each update, but as we get to crunch time before we actually begin production there really isn't a whole lot of news that is worth reporting, however I have some pictures that I can show you today!

We went location scouting yesterday and have some great pictures! It's a very spooky place right in the middle of LA where you wouldn't expect it.

Our girls are going to be right in the thick of it!

Distribution!

We are pleased to announce that Cheerleaders Must Die! will be distributed by none other than National Lampoon! Famous for their comedies like Animal House and Vacation, National Lampoon has help to create the comedy landscape that paved the way for filmmakers like Judd Apatow.

We are so pleased to be a part of the National Lampoon family and look forward to this summer even more!

Update - Casting News!

Hey Everyone!

We are far enough along that we can announce some preliminary cast for the Cheerleader Slasher!

Currently we are in final negotiations with:

Danielle Harris from the Halloween movies as our lead.

Shirly Brener from Righteous Kill as our villian.

Lochlyn Munroe from Freddy vs. Jason as a character named Billy.

And last but not least Aviva from Super Bad as Traci, one of the cheerleaders.

It's shaping up to be a great team and we are really looking forward to production.

Small Update

Pleased to say that pre-pre-production is going along swimmingly. Our name cast is just about all locked. I can now say that Danielle Harris is attached and it looks like Shirly Brener is locked too! We'll bee meeting with other cast hopefuls this week and next and all the uninteresting business stuff is getting done.

Welcome to the official WiggyVonSchtick blog! If you are joining us from our MySpace page then you'll remember the format. During production we update frequently, usually daily, about on-set updates, high jinx, and other bits that might be interesting.

During down time between films updates come as the news comes. There will always be a monthly update no matter what, but other news will be added as it arises - like when cast members have new projects or if Wiggy movies appear in festivals.
